ODM leader Raila Odinga in collaboration with musician Emmanuel Musindi have released their first remix song dubbed as ‘Leo ni Leo’.
Raila Odinga took to Twitter yesterday to announce the premiere of his first-ever music video by releasing a 39 seconds teaser of the music video while announcing that it will be premiering for the first time today at 11am.
“Set your reminders: My first ever song drops at 11am on the following link and on my Facebook page as well. Tune in,” wrote Raila Odinga.
The much anticipated music video dropped on AzimioTv’s YouTube Channel which has already garnered more than five thousand views barely two hours since it premiered.
In the video, Raila starts by requesting the DJ for the original “Leo ni Leo” song while at a rally in Tika Stadium during one of his campaign rallies then he is followed by Emmanuel Musindi starts singing the song at party accompanied by some dancers.
In the remix, Raila is quoted saying “Tunasema Kenya mpya inawezekana, na inawezekana, Kenya mpya inawezekana, nchi ambayo ikona raha na ustawi na inawezekana.” “ndoto yao ambao walisema Mungu bariki nchi hii yetu ya Kenya, haki iwe ng’ao na ulinzi, tukae na undugu, amani na uhuru. Raha tupate na Ustawi” says the Africa Union envoy in the song.
The song will now be used to popularize his bid for presidency during the incoming general elections in August 2022.
